Building Our New House!
So Luke, my dad, Rhys, myself (and sometimes mum!) are currently in the process of building our new house on my parent’s property. You may know that they have a LOT of land, and it’s all sub-divided and what-not, and we really crave a move from our dungeon house grannyflat.
We are renovating the shed down there.
And yesterday was an exciting day in the building department. After spending a very long, hard day on Saturday nailing together pieces of wood, and digging holes and LOTS of leveling everything we did, we got all our floor bits cemented in!
Unfortunately dad really badly hurt his leg on Saturday, even before we got there, so he spent a lot of time telling us what to do, but he also helped out a LOT which was very brave of him.
So this week we will be bolting all the wood in properly, and then putting the other bits that go over the top in, and then the floor will be in!! Exciting stuff.
I think it was incredible how much more it looked like its meant to, even from the start of Saturday to the end. What a difference a floor makes!
