Inspiration…
July 31st, 2009
I have these photos that I need to scrapbook for our holiday scrapbook. I don’t particularly want to do something the same as all the others, and I don’t want to put in HEAPS of papers, cause they’re expensive. Any ideas or inspiration to give?
Page 1:

This is at Nimrod's Fortress. It's the biggest fortress/stronghold in Israel. The tank is from a war...
Page 2:

This is from quad biking up to the top of a mountain. The peacocks are from the Kabutz we stayed at that night.
Thanks for visiting my site again! keep checking back for more updates!

In the second layout, the tank is from this war: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yom_Kippur_War#On_the_Golan_Heights

Hi Talia
Are all your layouts on white background? My two cents worth: The tank photos are ones that don’t really need a lot cause they are quite good. Never having seen the photos before, or knowing where you took them etc, why don’t you try journalling tags explaining what when where why’s with a title through the middle of the page. Draw a hand drawn line border right around the outside edge of the page.
The peacock photo is great and so is the one of Luke and you bike riding. Maybe say where they were taken in a sub title heading = I can’t make out what the other photo is of.
One both pages, pick the best photo and put a corresponding colour behind it to frame the photo and make it stand out. Make the journalling tags the same way (framing the journalling with the same colour or similar).
Hope this helps the scrappers block – hate scrappers block!!
Don’t forget to post when you have done something!

They’re not always done on white paper- this is just the background I had in the scrapbook. I am a bit of a cheapy though, so white paper is often the background!!!
Thanks for the ideas too! I’ve been working on them a little on the weekend, but this weekend (and the week comming) and super crazy, so I might not get much done!! Your ideas have definitely helped me get the creative juices flowing! Thanks!!
