Freaky Deaky
For one of my subjects at Uni we’ve had to choose a TED talk about creativity to review and then as a group we come together and look at the similar themes running through each person’s choice.
It is freaky how people sort of chose people that were similar to themselves. There is one lady who is actually a real nasty piece of work- always offended when people correct her, perfectly happy to dish it all out and never happy to recieve it. (GAH!) and she chose to do hers on this woman who speaks very forcefully, and agressively.
I don’t think (well, I don’t HOPE) that my choice reflects me too much… ! Haha. (link). Though I did choose something that I’m getting more and more passionate about- play. Particularly in relation to adult learners (and therefore workers as well).

Sad Little Heart

My heart is a little bit sad right now. My FAVOURITE subject at Uni is the one I’m struggling most with… I don’t know why it is. I’ve had to re-do every task I’ve been given so far, because it hasn’t been up to scratch.
Take a deep breath, and breath…
In one of my other subjects, my core subject, I’ve been writing my assignment. Today I re-read it and it doesn’t even make proper scense. It’s due midnight Thursday. So I’m feeling a bit stressed.
***** UPDATE******
I stared writing this on Wednesday, but it’s Friday now! Gah- time has gotten away with me! I handed in that core assignment… I posted a ‘help me!’ message on twitter, and Carly replied! So I got it all checked over by her and Luke before I handed it in. So it does actually make sense. And it turns out I had just read it a few too many times, and it wasn’t as bad as I thought…
I am SO glad that we have 4 days off. I am planning on re-doing the drawings I’ve been struggling with, and also get some extra work done for eLA. My parents are coming over tonight (and possibly Hayden) for a (nother) Passover meal. It should be nice. We don’t have them over very often. We should probably do that more…
Quick question, how often do you have your parents over for dinner? My parents live seriously close- like on the same property, and Luke’s live about 15 minutes away, but we never seem to have any of them over. We definitely see them a fair bit- my dad at work, mum at weight watchers, and everyone briefly every afternoon when we pick up Pepper. Luke’s mum we see at church, and we go over there sometimes for dinner, and we see Luke’s dad every couple of weeks, either for dinner or just in the afternoon after work…
SO it’s not like we don’t ever see them… but I still feel like we should invite them round more?

My Place & Yours…
So I’m now a Uni girl, which means I’m spending countless hours in front of the computer (read: ALL Day at work, plus ALL night at home minus the time it takes to cook/eat dinner). Oh course, it is tempting, when the eyes are getting bleary, to click that magic little Photo Booth button at the bottom of the page and play for a while. This inevitably means I need to touch up the photos a bit in iPhoto, and then join a few together in photoshop…. Bad, I know. :-S
