My 21st Birthday Party!
So it was my 21st birthday party on Saturday night. I had a really fun time.
Thank you to everyone who came! It was made very special by the variety, and loyalty of the friends who shared it with me.
It was held in our newly (almost) finsihed place. Picture of the main room, with floor down and everything, here:
There is nothing quite like having friends to share your love and your time with. I would like to give a special things to Rachel, who gave quite a touching speach. Also a big thanks to Dad- who is always one of my biggest fans, and always manages to gush over me at exactly the right times (i.e: during speaches dedicated to me).
LUKE’s speach was very well thought out, and I am thinking that I will write it out (he gave me a copy of his notes- yes, he wrote notes!!), in a new post. 
I LOVE him SOOOO much.

Making Do…
Some of you will know that I have lost Luke and my digital camera. I don’t usually believe that anything is ‘lost’, but have really decided that this must be lost. But I know that it is in our house SOMEWHERE.
Anyway, I’ve been upset and whatever about this for quite a number of weeks, put I have decided to just MAKE DO. So yesterday, when Luke and mum and dad and I were putting the floor in, I decided to take some photos with my phone. The quality isn’t too crash hot, but at least those memories aren’t gone. Lately…
Lately I’ve been learning a few things about myself and about my relationship with Luke. Lately I have also been very, very busy. I will endevour to write about the things that I’ve learnt, more this week. But I make no promises, as promises related to blogging are certainly not going so well for me right now!
If you’re missing a bit of Talia, then you can always check the podcast I was in last night!! I’m talking about Moodle, a Learning Management System, and I would love it if you left some feedback. I am feeling very blessed to have been asked to be involved, and I felt like I learnt a lot while I was there!! The best 40 minutes I’ve spent all weekend. (Not hard, as the weekend was full of RAIN, RAIN, RAIN!!).
Oh, and so you’re aware, We have deecided on laminate wood floors, which we are putting together this week, ready for my party this weekend. I will snag the photo off Aaron of the HUGE screen we played wii on last night (yay for a projector), then hopefully I will twitter it, and post it here.
No photos of my 21st really because we missing our camera. I am totally saving up for my digital SLR. Mum and Dad gave me $200 for it, and Luke gave me another $200 for it. So hopefully, if I get a bit of birthday money, and raid my piggy bank I will make it to $1000 soon.
